Job Description: Develop and test major software system components. Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution. Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software, operating systems, and application issues. Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software engineers. Serve as a task leader. Provide project effort estimations. The position requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field plus five years of progressive work experience in any position/title providing experience with JAVA.

DevOps Engineer

Work Location: Cary, North Carolina

Job Description: Develop and implement software configuration management strategies for complex application per agile process. Create the build and release pipelines on Azure DevOps. Perform deployment of AWS and configuration management. Perform Shell Scripting for automating Linux platforms. Implement cloud platforms Azure/AWS. Implement Maven, Gitbash, Apache Tomcat, Application Servers, Jenkins. Create the development plan. Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces, and/or hardware logic which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work with internal teams to meet the new and emerging business requirements in the cloud. Provide input to project teams, including determining development and deployment strategies, including code management, continuous integration and other aspects of Dev Ops. Research, analyze and recommend approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems. Deploy and maintain a cloud network data center infrastructure and processes necessary to safeguard data systems. Configure (through automation) infrastructure and applications for high performance and highly available operation to meet business needs. Configure Azure backups. May travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the US.

Skills & Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field & 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field & 5 years of experience.
